and music are a major part of my life! so i've put together this
page of stuff that i like. it is so hard for us to find positive
images of young gay guys in entertainment. there are many more things
to us than just being gay, but since this page is a gay guys page to help
himself and other gay guys... i'll spend a lot of time looking for cool
stuff that is positive for us! cool!

XYMagazine
this is one of the coolest zines
ever! it is made especially for gay teens and twenty somethings.
it is a monthly that you can subscribe to, or pick up at the bookstore.
they are so cool that if you subscribe they will send it in a plain white
envelope! they talk about all kinds of things we need to know, sex,
fashion, boyfriends, girls (yes, we do need to know :-), coming out, gay
bashing... it is just a great zine! check it!
**NEWS FLASH** XY's continued
existinse on this planet is in grave doubt. see... no one will advertise
in the mag because it is for and about young gay guys. seems young
guys kissing makes advertisers very nervous. jerks... so it may not
be around by the time you read this, who knows? and it is such a
cool mag :-(

they've hired a new subscription service, so if you have a credit card

ask the jerk off advertisers! but the mag is worth every penny!)

Instinct Magazine is another cool mag. it is for a little older guy, and it is as irreverent as hell. a really cool mag. it is also available at bookstores all over (thank god for the 21st century!)
want news? then check out the Advocate. it is the weekly news mag for gays and lesbians. they don't have any kind of focus on young gays (you know that phobia gays have about young people) but it does have news :-)
i've heard rumors there is a new
mag out for young teen guys. it is called Joey. i hear
it is like the young teen girls mags, just for our cool gay little bros!
cool! if anyone hears about it let me know so i can post info!
one word Rufus Wainwright! (ok, that was
two but ... he is cute!) check him out! he is a great piano
man. he is talked about as one of the best piano singer songwriters
ever! and he is openly gay! just listen to his music, there
can be no mistake! woo hoo! check him!
